WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College Foundation is planning a September fundraiser to generate revenue in support of Pitt students.

According to PCC Special Events Coordinator Jennifer Hemink, “The Last Bulldog Days of Summer” has been rescheduled to take place Sept. 22 in the Eddie & Jo Allison Smith Center for Student Advancement. It will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and feature a low-country boil catered by Keyzer’s Catering and the Wandering Tavern serving drinks in the Smith Center’s TowneBank Patio.

“We typically hold our scholarship fundraiser in the spring but decided to mix things up a little this year and try something different,” Hemink says. “The low-country boil is a chance for the community to enjoy the last days of summer with great food and friends while supporting a great cause.”

Hemink says tickets are on sale now at a cost of $100 per person. She added that event sponsorships are also available at three different levels: “Premium Sponsorship” for $3,000, “Table Sponsorship” for $1,500 and “Friend of PCC Sponsorship” for $500. Proceeds will fund a variety of PCC student scholarships and educational activities throughout the 2025-26 academic year.

Those interested in sponsorship opportunities may contact Hemink at jkhemink453@my.pittcc.edu for more information.
